"Freya II" is a revamp of the original Freya outfit. A soft linen shirt over a thick, dark, wool skirt, edged with patterned ribbon. A fitted leather vest finishes the clothing layers, but the real accent is the belt. This thick leather belt saddles the hips and carries not only the household keys, but a curved drinking horn. Whether that's for you or your mate...we'll never tell. Lord knows you probably need one to deal with that Odin of yours. Available in 5 colors.

Nora -
Nora is a dress inspired by George R. R. Martin's "Song of Ice and Fire" novels - better known as "Game of Thrones"
It's early medieval design with some fantasy silhouettes is featured by a soft sueded overcoat, with a silken shift beneath it. It comes in five great colors, to represent five of the houses - Arryn, Lannister, Baratheon, Tully and Tyrell.

"Workin' Girl" is, as expected, for the girls who have to get a little dirt on their hands. It's a rough tunic made of burlap with a few dirt splotches, accented by a gingham tied waist sash and matching patch pocket. Shoved in that pocket is a little handful of sunflowers, because even a working girl wants to feel pretty. Available in 5 colors, and the pocket/sash are scripted to change to 5 different gingham colors. Just touch the pocket to change them.

Some of you may have noticed the easels up front in the store, depicting ancient Roman plebian clothing. Inspired by a new trend of this type, I've created four new costumes for the plebian women, since most creators seem to be focusing on the patricians or lupas (lupas were prostitutes, and only they wore togas, ps). I'll probably make some patrician dresses as well, but for now...the Plebs!

"Alecto"-350L-mod/copy/notrans
"Alecto" is a draped top (stolla) over the tan, linen tunica. Golden pins hold the shoulder drapes together while a simple rope gathers at the waist. Available in 6 colors, and a RFL exclusive.

"Eirene"-350L-mod/copy/notrans
"Eirene" is a touch more dressy for a plebian woman, a simple shift dress of creped linen with a pleated leather underbust tie. Though simple, the fabric and line of the dress indicates it is slightly more formal, perhaps appropriate for worship or a party. Available in 6 colors and a RFL exclusive.

"Niobe"-350L-mod/copy/notrans
"Niobe" is a very simple roughspun poncho over a linen shift dress, accented with woven ribbon edges and tassels. Available in 6 colors and a RFL exclusive.

"Nona"-350L-mod/copy/notrans
"Nona" is another example of the two-layered dress style of the time, with a stolla worn over the tunica. Unlike "Alecto" however, this has longer sleeves with open shoulders, tied with rope, and a waist sash. Available in 6 colors and a RFL exclusive.

Fantasia was invited to participate in Fantasy Faire this year and do we have some fantasy goodness for you. Being from a coastal home, but currently living far from it, I miss the ocean terribly. So out of the blue came inspiration for this set of outfits and accessories, and I hope you'll enjoy!

Naiad Scales Tattoo Layer-100L-mod/copy/notrans
This tattoo layer will let you add a bit of mer to any skin you own. Over pale skins they're shimmering highlights, over darker skins they add an opalescent hue. Available in six subtle colors.

One has to look sexy if one is going to be singing some mariners to their deaths, right? Or, if you just happen to like a seaside tone to your silks. Not all Naiads have to be the seductive type, and for those who protect the kingdom (or maybe queendom?) there is the Nerrin Armor. "Divided" is a slightly oriental inspired high slave outfit. Modest and revealing at the same time. Open on the side and just barely covering the important bits, this outfit sports a high mandarin collar, cap sleeves, and a short skirt held in place with a swagged sash. Available in 6 colors, as well as a greyscale RFL exclusive!

"Ebb" is more of a high fantasy gown then Gorean, but like most of our creations, the line is thin and well-blurred. The dress itself is form-fitting with an optional lace modesty shirt, teardrop open-back, and ornate belt with gems and braided silver. The soft, velvety fabric fades from pastel shades to white, trimmed with crushed black velvet. In addition to the dress, which can be worn alone, is a crushed velvet poncho with high collar and braided silver chains and large diamond pendant. If I was a mage, I'd totally be all over this. Sabi and I participate every year to fight back against cancer, which has touched our lives far too often, and far too closely. This year I'll be relaying for my aunt, currently fighting ovarian cancer, and for my friend, currently fighting colon cancer. Both of these people, who have every right to cry and scream and ask "Why me?"...never have. They fight with astounding grace and fortitude, managing to be icons of strength as they face their deadly opponent. I can only hope I would fare as well.

"Lux" is an orientalist inspired gown with plenty of glitz. The outer layer is wrapped around the bust with little cap sleeves, then split in an empire waist over the under layer. The fabric is pastel silk with beads and sequins adorning it. The under layer is patterned silk in rich gold with wide, draping sleeves. Also, something I'm super excited about, the skirt is attached to a different attachment point, so there's less hip-poke-thru! You still might have some but it's been drastically reduced (and this is with a hip-thrusty panther AO!) Available in 6 colors. Enjoy!

"Sedan Chair" & "Sedan Chaise" - 500L - mod/NOCOPY/trans
Who wouldn't want to be carried around the city, laid out in the lap of luxury whilst proclaiming to the poor pedestrians, "I'm so much better then you." These pieces of furniture are made just to help you do that. Both are carried by slaves, the chair at shoulder height and the chaise at hip height. The tunics of the slaves are both color change at a click. The chair has several texture options, while the chaise can have the padding and pillows all set to different textures. Both are worn as attachments, so you don't have to worry about rezzing it. Just wear and go!

"Nanuk" is a fluffy, furry set of leathers. Following the rule of 'the less you wear, the more covered you are' that is so prevalent in fantasy genres...these leathers will really keep you warm! The outfit consists of a ripped and stitched long sleeve leather top, matching leather booty shorts, and leather socks that come up the thigh. To accessorize, super furry boots and cuffs were added, along with a short fuzzy cape and hood set, which can be worn 'hood up' or 'hood down'. It's so FLUFFY!!

Figuring that people might like the capes that come with "Nanuk" but might not want to buy an outfit they won't wear, I created 10 versions of the cape, available for separate purchase. And oh boy...have we got newness.

"Cora" & "Caelyx"-200L-mod/copy/notrans
Sabina's latest creation featuring shades of leather in two different arrangements. The slim and sexy "Cora" clings to the curves as a leather mini-dress, one side left open to expose one's brand. "Caelyx" on the other hand is a little more of the flashy variety with a stripped skirt and tummy baring asymetrical top. Both feature little animal pictographs.

"Lumi"-400L-mod/copy/notrans
"Lumi", named after a snow queen of folklore, is the Free Woman's answer to winter. The top layers are a light and shimmering knit while the lower layers are dark, rich velvets. Fur edges the sleeves and a thick fur stole is perfect around the shoulders. Includes matcing veil and hood.

Feel free to explore the sim and find all the little nooks and play areas. Even use it for rp if you need a little getaway. Just remember...no open 'adult' activities! Keep it to the 'mature' rating.

Anyone who's familiar with Fantasia knows the fairies are a long time part of the island. They keep the forest healthy, clean up extraneous prims, ban people for having open chat sex...you know, stuff I don't want to deal with. Unfortunately, someone is trying to steal Fantasia's fairies! You'll help rescue them, won't you? All around the sim you might discover bottles with the little fairies trapped inside. If you find one, just click on it and the fairies will escape. And in thanks, one will even stick around with you to give you a gift!

Well, I'm back from Mexico and...my my my, when did winter get here?!? Must be time to break out the knits and sweaters and pants, oh my! In short...the Winter Wall is back at Fantasia. An ice block wall covered in winter goodness, some new, some from last season, but all sure to keep your character warm no matter what wintery theme they face.

"Tassel"-mod/copy/notrans
"Tassel" is a big, fluffy, warm looking knit sweater with tasselled edges. The fabric hangs low in front and back, but gathers high on the hip to show off at least a little sexy thigh, while the neckline dips to show other assets. PS, totally un-asked for plug here, but if you like the barely parted lips look in this ad, run over to Nomine! I know, I know, I'm late! Trust me, this has been one hell of a week irl. Anyway, on to the cross-dressing!

"Rosalind" is inspired by the outfit worn by the character when disguised as a shephard boy. Each color comes with shorts in both burlap and leather, gathered at the waist with a rope, and a linen shirt clearly meant for a man. Over that is worn a rough plaid jacket with wide sleeves and a sculpted bottom, hiding some curves. Available in 5 colors.

"Cleopatra" was...vaguely inspired by the dress worn by the actress in this summer's Shakespeare production. I sort of took the idea and let inspiration take me where it wanted to go this time. This outfit is full of options and accessories, and perfect for your Halloween debute as the infamous beauty. "Cleopatra" includes two linen shirts (one sheer, one not) to be worn with (or not if you're daring) a skin tight wrap dress. Gold and gems adorn the top edge, just under the breasts, and the hem. That's just the dress. For accessories, there is a gold and silver headdress featuring ankhs, scarabs and golden wings, golden cuff bracelets with silver ankhs, an overdress of sheer gold cloth, and a signature Egyptian styled collar, studded with gemstone cabochons. Recently I was in a RL "Summer Shakespeare" stage production. Inspired by all the costumes, I decided to make SL versions of them. I'll be releasing these medieval gowns one per week. I forgot to blog about last weeks release, so here's the makeup post, plus the new release!

"Juliet"-L$350-mod/copy/notrans
"Juliet" is inspired by the gown worn by the actress portraying Juliet during a Summer Shakespeare production I participated in. Sparkling pastel satin, beadwork on the upper arms, fur trim and long belled sleeves...all trimmed with blood red brocade. To quote a friend, its "Foreshadowing in fabric". Available in 6 colors.

"Kate"-350L-mod/copy/notrans
"Kate" the infamous 'shrew' of Shakespearian legend has finally arrived at Fantasia. Late of course, but...well it's not like she cares. "Kate" takes some inspiration from aristocratic Italian fashion from the renaissance era, featuring thick velvet with golden brocade overlay, a lowered empire waist to hint at the form underneath, all over a clean white chemise with full sleeves. This costume was a joy to wear (while running from my Petruchio) and I hope you all will enjoy this virtual version. Available in 6 colors.

Anyone who knows me knows I'm a huge supporter of the Relay for Life in SL. The daughter of a survivor, and the niece of a woman who lost her battle with cancer this year, I've been very involved in the RFL this year. So, in one of the final drives of the year, I'm participating in Gor-Fest.

Gor-Fest is 2 full sims of gorean merchants, with live musical events at a large stage, running from the 8th-13th. Please stop on by, even if you're not a gorean roleplayer. There are tons of different merchants ranging from furniture to jewelry to clothing, as well as great musical acts to enjoy.

I was sent a little challenge via IM to create some feather leathers (c'mon, say it, feather leather, it just makes you smile) so...there's my reply to said challenge. A leather halter top with full feathery coverage on the front, as well as leather panties with a fan of feathers at the groin and butt. The back is laced up with leather cording, with beads and feather tassels hanging down, and the hips are tied with similar feathered tassels.

After many requests and more debating then I'd care to admit, Fantasia is proud to present "Priceless", a set of robes inspired by the book descriptions of robes of concealment for free women.

"Priceless" is a set of robes inspired by the book description of Gorean robes of concealment for free women. Featuring rich, jewel-tone velvet as well as ornate golden embroidery. This extensive set includes shirt, glitchpants, sculpted empire-waist dress, sculpted bell sleeves, sculpted scarf, sculpted two-layer hood, and a matching two-layer veil.

Note:Due to the nature of the empire-waist dress, certain AO poses may interfere with the lines. A script has been included in the skirt to minimize this, and a NC is included with various ways to help avoid issues.

For the past two years I've been involved with the Relay for Life in Second Life. Last year, the team I captained raised over 300k in linden dollars, with just a small number in the group. This year I'm part of a much larger group, with high hopes to raise even more. This year, I was also invited as a designer to participate in the RFL Clothing Fair. Seven sims, over 170 designers, each with new releases and some items made with the intention that every purchase goes directly to RFL. So...here are my teasers of my new releases!

The Clothing Fair theme this year is "Pirates" so I chose a new take. Inspired by the song "Airship Pirates" from Abney Park, these costumes are a little on the steampunky side. All three are RFL Exclusives, and every penny from their sales goes directly to RFL.

Samson-New Release for men! Guardian helped me webcrawl for inspiration, and wouldn't you know "Robin Hood-Prince of Thieves" is a pretty darned good source! Available in red/silver, blue/brown, green/brown, and silver/silver.

Kanti Silks-Based on the sanskrit word for "beauty" these silks are made of soft velvet with silvery floral accents. Available in blue, green, purple, red, and black.

Exposure Panther Leathers-As summer approaches some women who play the role of panther girl have expressed interest in going topless. Well...topless doesn't mean unadorned. Four strands of carved stone beads adorn while a long belted leather kilt provides...some...coverage. Available in black, brown, leopard and light.

Bina Silks-Slaves are known to adorn themselves with small wooden beads called bina. These silks feature those beads as well as two-toned, sheer panels of pleated silk. Available in blue/silver, red/blue, green/gold, indigo/pink, and teal/pink.

Ok. LOTS of newness! First...I rebuilt the store. Again. Little more open, little more clean, little more like an actual store! It's sectioned off into areas by catagory, there's a sitting area for waiting for the lucky chair, and two /awesome/ items provided by Lucius from Infinity Inc. Basically, you go up to the colorful crates, use the arrows to select the item you want to win, then pop a squat for a certain amount of time to earn it. Nifty huh?

Speaking of that, Fantasia is now not the only store to be found in the area! By TPing to Fantasia, you'll easily find a few partner stores, most notably Elements, Infinity Inc, and Sakinah Silks. Elements, by Sabina Takakura, features some great, detailed silks, panther wear, and now some free women's dresses (see her Pursuit dress on another thread.) Sakinah Silks, by Syngen Sohmers, features beautiful sculpted prim silks and free women's gowns with a middle eastern flair. And Infinity Inc., by Lucius Obviate, features HANDS DOWN the best collars in SL. Clean, fast scripts, valuable options without all the useless laggy ones, and great builds, both for IC and OOC use. I'm getting so horrible at updating my blog! Anyway, since Tarna-ta-Torvis, my tribe, has regrouped, I've had panther on the brain. And not only panther, but panther in autumn. These kirtle/long camisks come in two types, rough and velvet. The rough ones are made of thick burlap with a rope belt wrapped around the waist, while the velvet ones come in many colors and have 3 belt color options. Each set includes a scripted and non-scripted belt. The scripted belt keeps the waist straight, so that animations don't cause the belt to cut through the avi.

Ok, so I've been really quiet lately and swamped with rl stuff, but I've been working hard. First, a /giant/ new store. Same setup as the old, just much larger. I have multiple Lucky/Wonder Chairs inside, with cuddle areas to wait for your prize, and big open floorspace so you can cam up to the upper levels if you don't feel like climbing stairs. "Tied" Panther Leathers

"Tied" panther leathers are just that; tied. The top is tied over one shoulder and left to drape over the upper body, while a bit of ragged leather is used as a sarong over "panty" cut leathers on the bottom. Special attention was paid to wrinkling on this piece because of its draped appearance. Available in 4 colors: black, brown, and light leather, and now a new leopard print.

"Scripted FW Veil Set"

This set for free women consists of a draped hood and veils. Both are scripted to color and texture change at a touch, and the veil is scripted so that one may remove the outer "street" veil, leaving just the sheer "house" veil. The textures used match the "Underthings" set so they can be used together, and the hood and veil can be changed independently of each other. Also, the veil attaches to the left ear, so one can wear prim lashes or other forms of eye and brow adornment.

"Stray" is a set of ripped, ragged, patched clothing for she-urts and strays. Its made of very rough material, maybe even canvas sacking, patched and wrapped around, fastened with a rope belt and pouch. Dirt and stains mark the entire outfit, adding to the dirty appeal. To compliment the dirty look of "Stray" I made some hopping particle fleas for your hair! Just wear and revel in your dirty!

"Pleb" for men!

Responding to a request for worn, sweaty, and dirty work clothing for the lowest caste men, I've made the "Pleb" tunic. This simple tunic is sleeveless, with a wide neck opening, and made from rough spun fabric. Dirt and sweat stains mark the otherwise plain fabric. Available in brown(ish), grey(ish), and white(ish).

Ok, this post is all about the Honor Tunic. It's been suprisingly popular, so I thought I'd add a few more caste colors. Now available, Assasin (black), Merchant (white and gold), Peasant (Brown), and Slaver (blue and gold).

Also new, an armor add-on pack for the Honor Tunic. This set adds the look of roman pressed leather armor. Its available in brown and black.

Duty for Men

"Duty" is another men's tunic, this one a bit more work oriented. It includes two sets of leather pants (brown, black), a linen shirt, and a jacket layer tunic which can be worn with or without the prim skirt. The prim skirt has "vents" which allow easier mounting of a tarn, tharlarion, horse or dragon (whatever your prefered mount is!).

Stolla

A stolla is the clothing of choice for the ancient roman noblewoman, and is equally fitting for the gorean free woman. The shift worn underneath is called the tunica, and may be worn alone. The layer above is called the stolla, and has a high empire waist for modesty. Atop that is worn the palla, or scarf, which is worn over the head as a hood. The palla here is scripted to change texture and color at a touch.

This is a bit of a native american inspired piece for the panthers, or people who just like costumes with that native look. The top is a hairpipe bead breastplate with bone beads, brass beads, and leather fringe. The skirt is a simple loincoth with a sculpted pouch.

We all can't be rich, well dressed princesses, right? So, for you ladies who's tiara fell off while you were spreading fertilizer in the garden, or fishing garbage from the canals, we have Patchwork. This raggedy dress is made from bits of salvaged fabric sewn together. It's a little dirty, but oh-so comfortable, tied at the waist with a bit of spare rope, with a disheveled skirt that falls just above the knees. The set comes with two versions, one whole dress with ragged sleeves, and one thats a ragged, torn shirt over the skirt. This is available in three colors, the original, blue, and red. Enjoy!

Peasant Dress

Ok, so I was a touch late posting this. Oops. Anyway, here is a dress made for the peasant woman. The dress has a simple linen shift over which is worn a leather over dress, laced up the sides and left open down the sides to expose the underskirt. The sleeves are gathered at the elbow and wrist, with sculpted parts to create the gathered effect. I've already had alot of people complimenting this one, so I hope you'll enjoy too!
